“As per the name it is palace of winds. Resort is in heart of Panchgani city. Excellent roads and no traffic congestion. Hotel parking is sufficient to accommodate all guests at a time. Once enter the hotel ambience is awesome and hanging lamps catches the eyes. From reception area breathtaking view of valley creates curiosity to go and have a look once. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Lawn tennis grounds , cottages , fountain and greenery near surrounding is prime beauty of ravine hotel.”

“The best thing about this hotel is it's excellent location and breathtaking views from rooms. Also the place boasts of regularly hosting filmstars !!

However from a traveller perspective, i rate the quality of hospitality as just average (esp for a 8/10k room rate). Major disappointments are :-
1) room amenities - didn't expect shampoo & soap dispensers in such quality hotels - that's for ₹2000 hotel rooms

2) restaurant Buffett unsuitable for strict vegetarians - veg and non veg sections are laid out together, serving spoons move around (at least I didn't appreciate. Having said that I really appreciate the service of the restaurant staff who go all the way to make your meal a great one ! Especially Kartik & Alfred - great work !
(THE BUFFET is NOT suitable to strict vegetarians - this is MY PERSONAL VIEW)

3) maintenance - while the location is superb, hotel maintenance is poor. Water leaking in corridors wasnt repaired for days during my stay

To the owners - please maintain your taj mahal as a taj mahal. It's really beautiful and would love to see it grow n prosper
