Room is clean and the view from the balcony is to die for
Also I had ordered prawns biryani which turned out to be extremely delicious and Aniket was our service provider at the restaurant and he made sure that we were delivered food according to our liking.”

“Accommodations: From Duplexes to Glamping

The property stands out by offering diverse stay configurations rather than standard cookie-cutter rooms:

The Valley-View Rooms: Options like the Valley Plus and Junior Executive rooms feature private balconies that face the valley directly. Watching the monsoon mist or early morning fog crawl up the cliffside from these rooms is the primary highlight of the property.
Family Duplexes: The ground-floor family rooms are designed as spacious duplexes that easily house four to six people, making them highly economical for larger groups. The Luxury Tents: For a unique touch, they offer plush, pet-friendly glamping tents (like the Emperor's Tent, complete with a private infinity plunge pool) pitched right against the backdrop of the hills.

Dining & Amenities

The in-house multi-cuisine restaurant, The Melting Pot, serves up international, North Indian, and local Mughlai dishes. The food quality is consistently good, and they are famous for putting together a lavish, comprehensive complimentary breakfast spread that earns high praise from travelers. The resort grounds are expansive and exceptionally family-friendly. They house a full-service spa (Serenity Spa), a fully equipped gym, an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor arcade/games room, and even a professional outdoor tennis court.

A Few Realities to Keep in Mind
Despite its high ratings, the property has a couple of structural and service hitches to consider:

Aging Infrastructure: Having opened in the late 90s, parts of the main hotel building feel dated. Guests occasionally note that certain room electronics, mattress springs, and bathroom plumbing fixtures (like fluctuating water pressure) are overdue for a modern overhaul. Service Consistency: Because of the massive volume of repeat guests and weekend crowds it draws, the hospitality pacing can fluctuate. The check-in desk and restaurant service can occasionally feel overly mechanical or rigid during peak check-out windows.

Traffic Noise on the Roadside: If you accidentally book the East Side (Non-View) or lower-tier road-facing rooms to save on cost, you will miss out on the valley scenery entirely and will experience persistent vehicle noise from the main Wai-Panchgani highway.

The Verdict: At roughly ₹6,000 to ₹8,500 per night for standard valley-view configurations, Ravine Hotel completely justifies its cost based on its unmatched cliffside location alone. As long as you explicitly opt for a valley-facing room and walk in expecting reliable heritage comfort rather than sleek, ultra-modern luxury, it serves as a wonderful, scenic hill escape”
