“Hotel definitely has location advantage – before the congested area starts, on the side of a cliff, with sufficient in-house parking. Entry Lobby is at half floor height, it has a steep ramp on side of entry stairs – bit difficult for one having knee pain.

Hotel has a Small lift (max 4 person), for access to rooms - restaurant is on the lobby level, but access to all other parts of the hotel is through stairs only. There are two lawn tennis court, which has separate access fee. Restaurant has a big sit out area, but only breakfast is served there. Food, on A-la-carte, is just OK – Buffet only for breakfast, with option of hot Dosa / Omelette. Staff is courteous and well mannered, with Exception of Teju, who is Odd Man Out. Alok Kumar was specially efficient and polite – an Asset for the setup.

“Valley Plus” rooms have valley and part lake view, with substantial size balcony – a big plus point. However, Room did not have the furnishing matching with the rate – No Fridge in room, No mosquito net door for balcony, Improper ventilation in bathroom – leaving it stinking, Stained WC and wash basin, no shower curtain – complete bathroom gets wet during bathing, no safety lock in doors.

Hotel displays room layout (in emergency exit map) – with room type – one can check if he is in the type of room, he paid for.

Hotel has BIG Gym with several equipment, normally not seen in a hotel gym, though some of them are quite old. But it clearly stands out.

Wifi in rooms were not good.”

“The receptionist Shivani did not possess any relevant information about the Tennis court booking inspite that I had called in to the hotel before travelling from Pune to Panchgani. Really disappointing and not deserving at all of the 3 star rating that the hotel claims to have.”
