“Hotel Ravine, Panchgani – A Wonderful Getaway! ????

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Ravine in Panchgani! The food was delicious with a variety of options to choose from. The staff was extremely polite and always ready to help, which made the stay even more pleasant. The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking – perfect for relaxing and soaking in the natural beauty.

“Stayed two night and three days at this hotel. This was my second visit. The first one being in 2013.

I had mixed feelings at this hotel.
Positives:

Room service was reasonably priced.

The best part of the valley plus room is the breathtaking view.  On certain days the sunrise and sunset are fantastic.

Hot water was good.

The staff were friendly and check-in was rather swift.

Dining restaurant had live music on certain days.

If you like paragliding, then this hotel is very close to the paragliding spot- High flying paragliding Panchgani

Areas that need improvement:
I really do believe that this hotel does require an overall face lift in terms of their Deco and interiors much of it is outdated and old fashioned.

Portion sizes served at the restaurant are very small. I do think that they can increase the portion sizes.

WiFi isn't really good. It was very slow and unreliable in the rooms. Overall wifi coverage throughout the hotel needs improvement!

The room sliding doors in our room were not opening and the staff took about an hour to temporarily fix it. Towels provided were very damp.

I did feel that the overall room rent was a bit high.

Food;
The tea and coffee served in the room definitely needs improvement as it was very milky and did not taste good at all.  The food portion sizes are very small.”

“My recent stay at your hotel was a complete disappointment. I expected basic hygiene and service standards, but what I experienced was unacceptable:
• The swimming pool was filthy. After just one swim, I was itching for the entire day. Clearly, the water is not maintained properly.
• Room service was careless and slow, with repeated reminders needed for basic requests.
• The washrooms were dirty and unhygienic—something that should never be the case in a hotel.
• The basketball hoops were mounted way higher than the standard 10 feet. It looked like no one had even checked or measured it. That’s just basic facility management.
• To make things worse, the breakfast served had hair in it. That is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I hope you take immediate action to fix these issues—not just for future guests, but out of respect for your own brand.”
